Decentralized AI Creation & Marketplace

Decentralized Application (dApp)
Project Overview
Aurk dApp is a decentralized platform that enables users to design, deploy, and monetize AI models without relying on centralized providers.By combining no-code AI creation, decentralized compute, and a tokenized marketplace, Aurk redefines how AI is built, owned, and distributed.
Problem Statement
AI is powerful but remains inaccessible, non-transparent, and controlled by a few players.
Target Audience
Aurk is built for a multi-sided ecosystem:

Developers

Build and monetize AI models without infrastructure constraints

Businesses

Access customizable AI solutions without recurring API costs

Researchers

Collaborate and train models using shared compute

Community

Participate in governance and earn through contributions
💡 The Solution
As the product designer for WalletEX, I leveraged my experience as the pioneer designer of ChainEx to create a user-centric DApp. I focused on translating complex blockchain concepts into an intuitive and accessible interface, ensuring that users could easily send, transfer, and manage their tokens. By applying the established design guidelines from ChainEx, I aimed to deliver a seamless and engaging experience that prioritizes security and usability.
Challenges and Outcomes
Jan 2024 — Jan 2024
In designing WalletEX, I faced the challenge of creating a user-friendly experience in a space often seen as complex and intimidating, all within a short timeframe. Our goal was to get the beta test out as soon as possible. To address this, I conducted thorough design research by analyzing existing DApps like MetaMask and Uniswap. This research helped me understand user expectations and best practices, which I integrated with our unique design guidelines. The outcome was a cohesive and intuitive interface that simplified cryptocurrency management. By prioritizing usability and security, WalletEX effectively addresses user needs, making it accessible to both new and experienced crypto users.

Lessons Learned and Key Takeaways

Working on WalletEX was both challenging and rewarding. One of the biggest lessons I learned was the importance of making something as complex as blockchain easy for everyone to use without sacrificing security. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to simplify without cutting corners.

The tight deadline was another big challenge. We needed to move fast to get the beta out, and that pushed me to be decisive and creative under pressure. It was a great reminder that sometimes the best ideas come when you’re up against the clock.

What really stood out to me was the power of research. By looking at what others had done with DApps like MetaMask and Uniswap, I could make design choices that were both user-friendly and true to our own vision. This project reinforced how important it is to stay adaptable and keep the user’s experience front and center, even when time is short.
